Patrick’s practice focuses on municipal law that includes zoning and land use matters, property tax assessments, Act 511 tax matters, and compliance issues.  In addition to drafting or reviewing various ordinances, resolutions, policies, and agreements for clients, Patrick regularly attends public meetings to advise and assist elected officials in a public setting. His representation of municipal clients includes all

aspects of civil litigation and, as such, Patrick appears before zoning hearing boards, tax hearing officers, magisterial district courts, and courts of common pleas on various matters ranging from municipal enforcement to zoning appeals and local tax collection.  Patrick has also argued and appeared before both the Commonwealth Court and the Superior Court.

Outside of the office, Patrick currently serves on Upper Dublin Township’s Zoning Hearing Board, and previously served as a Commissioner on the Upper Dublin Historic Commission, and as a member of the Upper Dublin School District Educational Advisory Committee. He has also worked with various non-profit groups including the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund and the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association.   When not busy with their three young children, he and his wife, Katharine, have a strong interest in historical preservation and spend time together working to preserve their late 18th- early 19th century farmhouse that once belonged to the Fitzwater family who traveled to America aboard the ship Welcome with William Penn.
