Work History
James is a skilled, multifaceted attorney with over a decade of experience practicing law throughout Pennsylvania. James has represented clients in the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania, the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, the Courts of Common Pleas throughout Southwestern and Southeastern Pennsylvania, and before the Bureau of Hearings and Appeals of the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services. He has significant experience serving and representing indigent and disadvantaged communities through his involvement in legal aid organizations, his representation of children in the juvenile court system, and through his government work as a former county solicitor.

James represents municipal, school district and private clients involved in all stages of real estate tax assessment appeals, which have included securing a reduction of taxes of over $70,000.00 per year in one private matter, and a savings of $58,068.17 per year in one municipal matter. For our school district and municipal clients, James works closely with local appraisers, assessment experts, and the other taxing entities to build compelling cases to support the asserted assessment value. He provides vigorous representation at all hearings and court proceedings, and advises on complex legal and constitutional issues related to assessments, protecting taxing-districts from improper challenges and ensuring compliance with Pennsylvania law.”
In addition, James handles the Right to Know Requests for our municipal and school district clients, ensuring legal compliance while protecting sensitive government information. He routinely represents municipalities and school districts in RTKL appeals before the Office of Open Records (OOR) and the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania, achieving favorable outcomes in important cases. Through his extensive experience, he knows how to efficiently address any requests and appeals, saving our clients time, aggravation and money.
In addition to his government and public interest work, James represents private clients in family law matters, including divorce, support, and custody matters, landlord/tenant disputes, construction contract and commercial lease disputes and negotiations, and in the criminal justice system.
He currently resides in Norristown, and enjoys an active lifestyle including hiking, cycling, and dancing.
